Come and Celebrate a Pink Spring with Us!
As the flowers begin to bloom, and strawberries ripen to their fullest, we invite you to tuck into our newest collection of desserts that are inspired by pink petals, marking the advent of spring.
February is usually the season of all things pink, especially in countries such as Japan and Korea, which celebrate the blossoming of sakura and the ripening of strawberries.
This season, we celebrate a pink spring at Sunday Folks, focusing on five new delectable offerings that pay homage to the season of strawberries and all things pink.
Strawberry Mint Slushie
A new addition to our roster of freshly-churned ice creams is the Strawberry Balsamic Ice Cream, a light and fruity swirl, nuanced with sweet and tangy balsamic syrup from Modena, Italy. A little bit of luxury never hurts. It is topped off with a refreshing slice of ripe watermelon.
If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, tuck into our Strawberry Cloud Puff. We were inspired by the choux pastries in Japan, so we decided to make our own especially for this season. Freshly-churned strawberry ice cream is swirled into homemade choux pastries that come with a crisp exterior and a buttery centre.
Many enjoy our Dark Chocolate Praline Tarts, so we decided to introduce the Strawberry Mascarpone Tart. Delicate mascarpone cream is encased inside an almond tart, and then dusted on the sides with crunchy roasted pistachios. Fresh strawberries are glazed on top and sprinkled with a hint of sea salt.
We also thought of creating a Classic Strawberry Cheesecake for celebrations and gatherings that could use a bit of pink! This timeless dessert is made with premium cream cheese and a crunchy digestive cookie base; it is finished off with a tart-edged homemade strawberry compote.
Lastly, a beverage to round it all up. Our Strawberry Mint Slushie is a cooling blend of strawberries and mint. Great for that much-needed relaxation after a long day.
